Finished my 4 year science degree! How time passes quickly! Fingers crossed for a good honours grade!
Looking forward to spending time indulging my hobby of nature photography. More travel- so many places to go! Hopefully paper writing and pursuing PhD won't get in the way...

Heron Island

A recent trip to Heron Island Research Station and a little free time has provided me with awesome opportunities to get back on here and share some photos. Being 2hrs offshore, this coral cay allows visitors an unobstructed view of the night sky. As a national park, much of the reef is completely protected with a numerous and diverse group of creatures hiding amongst the coral. It was a huge privilege under the Universities licence to be able to collect and study some of the more interesting reef inhabitants (and of course put them back!).

Managed to pick up a nice sturdy tripod so am hoping to get out at night with a little more
